Why does a small file exceed the AI input limit?
AI memory use depends on pixels, not encoded bytes. The page reports this device's edge and pixel limits; doubling width and height creates four times as many pixels. Reduce the input if needed and inspect generated lettering and faces for artefacts.
Will a transparent PNG stay transparent after AI enlargement?
The current AI model produces opaque pixels and does not preserve the source alpha channel, even when saved as PNG. For a transparent logo or asset, use ordinary resizing with enlargement enabled and check the edges; it does not add AI-generated detail.
When should I use AI enlargement instead of ordinary resizing?
