Common questions
Should resizing, watermarking or compression come first?
Usually crop and resize first, add the watermark at the final dimensions, then compress or convert. Each step uses the previous result; editing after lossy compression can introduce another generation of encoding loss.
Does the batch pipeline preserve GIF animation?
The ordinary pipeline works on a decoded canvas rather than processing every animation frame. Use the dedicated GIF editor or compressor when you need to keep animation.
How do I make square product images without cropping the product?
Set equal width and height in the resize step and choose fit with padding. Set the background and disable enlargement if needed, then add watermarks and compression. Check one landscape and one portrait source first.
What should I do when only part of a batch succeeds?
Download successful results first and read the failed files’ messages. Replace damaged sources or reduce oversized images. Select the files that need another attempt and check the processing scope before running again.
