Common questions

What does Undo restore after dragging a filter slider?

One continuous drag counts as one step. Undo and Redo restore the corresponding settings and preview. The editor handles orientation and tone rather than layers, retouching brushes or object editing, and exports a separate copy.

Does changing the preview modify my original file?

No. Rotation and filters update the preview; processing creates a downloadable copy without overwriting the original. When continuing to another tool, choose the processed result so the next step receives your adjustments.

Why do rotation changes affect dimensions or leave transparent corners?

The canvas expands to contain the rotated picture. A 90° turn swaps width and height; other angles may leave empty corners. Crop them afterwards if needed. JPEG export fills transparent regions with the background colour.
