Common questions
Does a 358 × 441 image replace official identity-card photo capture?
No. The preset helps with JPEG pixels, size and framing, but the issuing office determines capture channels and other conditions. Confirm whether your local office accepts independently supplied digital photos before preparing one.
Why might a JPEG under 20 KB still fail this preset?
The page requires 358 × 441 pixels and a 14–20 KiB range, not just an upper limit. Excessive compression, a tight crop or enlargement protection can cause failure. Check actual dimensions and bytes, not merely the filename extension.
