Common questions
Does keeping every few frames preserve the original duration?
Skipped-frame delays are not added to the retained frames. Selected frames keep their own delays, adjusted by the speed setting, so total duration may shorten. Play the full export to check rhythm after sampling, reversing or reordering.
How does changing one frame’s delay differ from slowing the whole GIF?
An individual delay changes that frame’s hold time; speed scales all retained frame delays. At 50% speed, their durations are approximately doubled. Both settings combine, so check pauses and the complete loop after export.
Which order does the frame range use after reordering or duplication?
The current timeline sequence is formed first, then the range and sampling interval are applied, followed by reversal if enabled. Recheck the range after rearranging frames so moved or duplicated frames are not unintentionally excluded.
