About this tool
Use ordinary case conversion for prose and identifier styles for names. The latter combine words, so they are unsuitable when paragraph layout must stay intact.
How to use
Enter text and choose an output style. Letter case follows the current interface language. Identifier styles recognize boundaries in names such as camelCase and HTTPServer.
camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case and CONSTANT_CASE combine the input into one identifier and replace existing separators. Characters without upper and lower forms remain intact. Input limit: 2 MiB.
Common questions
Why does snake_case remove spaces and line breaks?
Identifier styles combine the words into one name with new separators. Use ordinary upper or lower case to retain layout. Check reserved words and leading-digit rules in your target language separately.
Can HTTPServer become http_server?
Yes: choose snake_case. Acronym and camelCase boundaries are recognized; camelCase produces httpServer. Ordinary case conversion follows the interface language, so letters such as Turkish i have language-specific behavior.
