Common questions

Will I receive a UK passport photo code?

No. This local checker reviews pixel dimensions, JPEG format and file size. It does not connect to photography shops, generate a photo code or edit the original. Follow the official application instructions for submission and appearance requirements.

Which digital-file requirements does this checker inspect?

It checks JPEG, at least 600 × 750 pixels, and 50 KiB–10 MiB. Read the failed requirement and obtain a suitable original from the photographer when needed. This page does not repair photos by enlarging, compressing or changing their background.
