Convert UTF-8 text to hexadecimal or binary bytes and decode bytes back to readable text, including Unicode and emoji.
How to use
Choose hexadecimal or binary, then edit either side. Each byte uses two hex digits or eight binary digits, with spaces for readability. You can paste byte sequences with or without whitespace.
Text is encoded as UTF-8, so a character may occupy several bytes. Invalid digits, incomplete bytes and invalid UTF-8 are rejected. Use this to inspect text encodings or prepare byte fixtures. Text input is limited to 256 KiB; this tool does not interpret bytes as an integer.
