About this tool
Build a chapter extract by listing pages in the desired output order. The page controls show 100 entries, while processing uses the entire valid sequence.
How to use
Choose a PDF and enter the desired sequence, such as 3,1-2,5. Pages export in that order; 3-1 reverses a range, and repeated numbers duplicate pages. Use the controls beside page numbers to move or remove entries.
A blank range keeps every page. The sequence display shows the first 100 entries, while export uses the full sequence up to 2,000 pages. Input limit: 64 MiB. Encrypted files are unsupported; forms are flattened and signatures lose validity.
Changing files or settings automatically updates the processed result. Switch to the original to compare, then download the PDF you have reviewed. The preview and download use the same file. If inline viewing is unavailable, open the result in a new tab.
Common questions
How can I reverse pages or duplicate one page?
Enter 3-1 to output pages 3, 2, 1. Enter 1,1,2 to include page 1 twice. Leaving pages out removes them from the result; output is limited to 2,000 pages.
Why are there only 100 page controls?
The button list shows the first 100 entries; the full page-sequence field determines every output page, up to 2,000. After editing, turn pages or jump to a page in the result viewer to check the order. The visible buttons alone do not represent the whole output.
Will extracted pages remain an editable copy of the original document?
The output is a new PDF assembled from selected pages. Supported form fields become their existing visual appearance; signatures lose validity and bookmarks may not carry over. The source file stays unchanged.
