About this tool
Assemble a document pack without first extracting every source chapter separately. Select each file’s page range, then check the merged order and contents.
How to use
Choose multiple PDFs and use Move up or Move down to order them. Each file can use a page selection such as 1-3,5; leave it blank to include every page.
Limits are 64 MiB per file, 128 MiB total, 40 files and 2,000 pages. Encrypted PDFs are unsupported. Forms are flattened to their existing appearance and digital signatures lose validity. Nothing is uploaded.
Changing files or settings automatically updates the processed result. Switch to the original to compare, then download the PDF you have reviewed. The preview and download use the same file. If inline viewing is unavailable, open the result in a new tab.
Put a cover in front of a report. Place cover.pdf before report.pdf, select page 1 of the cover and 2-4 of the report: the result should contain four pages. Each file has its own range. After changing ranges or order, inspect the processed PDF, not just an original-file preview. Merging combines pages; it does not rebuild the source bookmarks, attachments or digital signatures.
Common questions
Are forms, signatures and bookmarks preserved when merging?
Copying pages does not preserve every document feature. Supported forms are flattened to their existing appearance; unsupported forms may fail. Digital signatures lose validity, and original bookmark structures should not be relied on.
How do I merge selected chapters in a chosen order?
Move source files up or down, then enter each file’s pages, such as 1-3,5. Page numbers start at 1 within that source. A blank range includes all its pages.
Is the preview the actual merged PDF?
The result viewer and download use the same generated PDF. Turn pages or enter a page number to check where source documents join. Switch to the original view to compare a source file. If a page cannot be previewed, open or download the generated PDF to check it.
Are documents uploaded, and which PDFs can I merge?
Processing stays in the browser. Use at most 40 files, 64 MiB each, 128 MiB combined and 2,000 input pages. Encrypted PDFs are rejected; remove failed files before preparing a result.
