Calculate a file checksum locally and compare it with an expected value to check a download or a transferred file.
How to use
Choose or drop a file, then select the hash algorithm. Paste an expected checksum to compare it instantly; hexadecimal letter case and surrounding whitespace are ignored.
One file of up to 64 MiB is processed at a time. Changing the file or algorithm invalidates the old result. HTTPS supports the SHA family and MD5; plain HTTP supports SHA-256 and MD5. The filename is not part of the hash.
