About this tool
Choose the delimiter and header rules before exchanging tabular data. JSON input must be flat objects or equal-length row arrays, not nested objects in cells.
How to use
Choose a direction, delimiter and header option, then paste data or open a file. CSV values stay as strings, so an identifier such as 0001 keeps its leading zeros. Header names must be unique and nonempty.
JSON accepts arrays of flat objects or equal-length arrays, not nested objects. Quote large integers. CSV output prefixes formula-like strings with an apostrophe by default; disable this when appropriate. Limits: 10,000 rows, 500 columns and 2 MiB input. Preview shows 30 rows and 12 columns.
Common questions
Will CSV code 0001 turn into the number 1?
No. CSV values stay as strings; the tool does not infer dates, booleans or numbers. Represent large JSON integers as quoted strings when numeric conversion could lose precision.
Why are my headers or rows rejected?
Choose the actual delimiter: comma, semicolon or tab. Header mode requires nonempty, unique names and rows with the same column count. Disable headers when the first row is data.
Why does exported CSV contain an extra apostrophe?
Formula protection prefixes formula-like strings such as =1+1 with an apostrophe. Keep it for spreadsheet use; turn it off only when the destination needs the original text and handles it safely.
Does the 30-row preview limit the downloaded data?
No. Preview shows up to 30 rows and 12 columns; copying and downloading use the full result. Input is limited to 2 MiB, 10,000 rows and 500 columns.
