About this tool
Set read, write, execute and special permission bits using a matrix or octal value, with live Linux symbolic permissions.
How to use
Select permissions for owner, group and others, or enter an octal value such as 755 or 4755. Expand Special permissions to set setuid, setgid or the sticky bit. The matrix and output stay in sync.
The command example uses file as a placeholder for your target path. This tool calculates permissions only; it does not run commands on the server or decide which permissions are appropriate for a particular file.
